Indian Govt. Made Compulsory for Govt. Organizations to Procure Indian Cyber Security Products

With Atma Nirbhar Abhiyan, subsequent changes in General Financial Rule and Public Procurement Order (Preference to Make In India) 2017 have been brought in by the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce & Industry respectively.

As per the revised Public Procurement Order 2017 dated June 04, 2020 and later modified on Sep 16, 2020, only local suppliers or Indian Cyber Security Products are eligible to participate in government procurement irrespective of the value. The definition for Indian Cyber Security Products shall be as per the Public Procurement Order 2019 for Cyber Security Products dated Dec 06, 2019.

WiJungle being a Make In India Cyber Security Product welcomes the government’s move to facilitate the promotion of Indian companies and entrepreneurs.
